SUMMARY
Become a vital force in Firefly's groundbreaking journey to Launch, Land, and Orbit! Our Supply Chain Team is seeking sharp, energetic individuals with an unwavering eye for detail. As a Commodity Engineer, you'll be a critical pillar of the Firefly Supply Chain Team. Step up, contribute meaningfully, and shape the future with us.
This position will apply their broad technical knowledge and experience to support sourcing for design, manufacturing, testing and R&D projects. Candidates must be innovative, self-motivated, and work well in a team environment.
This position will serve as a technical expert and lead strategic functional initiatives to identify and qualify primary and secondary sources, evaluate new supplier technologies, capture design for manufacturing (DFM) improvement opportunities, and work to resolve supplier production challenges involving complex parts and materials.

Required
· B.S. in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering discipline.
Desired
· Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent field.
