Inventory Control Administrator

Department: Supply Chain and Logistics
Location: Briggs, TX

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Control Administrator to support inventory accuracy, process improvement, and operational efficiency within our warehouse environment. This role is responsible for identifying and resolving common inventory related ERP issues, supporting inventory investigations, administering cycle counts, overseeing kit production, and various other administrative and support tasks within the inventory control group.

This position works closely with the Odoo systems team, warehouse team, materials management and inventory analysts to ensure operational success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze inventory discrepancies, in-plant transactions, and material losses; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Support and maintain inventory accuracy through administering cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation activities.
  • Oversee inventory kit manufacturing and repair orders.
  • Provide administrative support and oversight for POU (Point of Use) inventory, including tracking, replenishment validation, and process compliance.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, including development of work instructions, process standardization, and team training.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support investigations, resolve issues, and drive operational alignment.
  • Track, analyze, and report inventory KPIs to measure performance, identify trends, and drive improvements.
  • Drive process adherence/AS9100 compliance within the inventory group

Required Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to support conclusions using data
  • Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Strong sense of urgency; able to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • 4+ years of inventory experience in a warehouse environment (or equivalent)
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
  • Physical stamina to perform regular duties, including:
    • Lifting, pushing, or pulling at least 50 pounds
    • Standing for extended periods
    • Crouching, bending, and reaching

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in the aerospace industry
  • Familiarity with Odoo ERP/MRP systems
  • Knowledge of ITAR compliance
