Learning Coordinator & Program Facilitator

Department: Human Resources
Location: Cedar park, TX

ABOUT FIREFLY AEROSPACE

As an end-to-end responsive space company, Firefly Aerospace is on a mission to enable our world to launch, land, and operate in space – anywhere, anytime. Our small- to medium-lift launch vehicles, lunar landers, and orbital vehicles allow us to service the entire lifecycle of government and commercial missions from low Earth orbit to the Moon and beyond. We utilize carbon composite structures, patented propulsion technologies, and common components across our vehicles to iterate quickly, improve reliability, and deliver payloads at a lower cost.

SUMMARY

We are looking for a Learning Coordinator & Program Facilitator who is equal parts organizer, connector, and guide. This role is designed for someone who can keep our learning systems humming while also stepping confidently into the spotlight to deliver programs for managers, new hires, and across the company.

The right candidate won’t just take orders—they’ll consult with leaders, anticipate needs, and design learning experiences that create real business impact. This is a chance to help shape the culture of learning at Firefly by coordinating platforms, curating resources, and facilitating experiences that make learning stick.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Facilitate engaging programs including Manager 101, New Hire Orientation, and Lunch & Learns.

Partner with business leaders to diagnose needs and co-create learning solutions instead of simply responding to requests.

Coordinate the LMS and other platforms to ensure accurate assignments, seamless reporting, and high compliance.

Moderate learning channels (e.g., Teams, SharePoint Communities,) to spark conversation and community engagement.

Curate and maintain the SharePoint learning hub, ensuring employees have access to relevant and up-to-date resources.

Track outcomes and report impact, turning data into insights that demonstrate learning’s value.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must-haves (Non-Negotiable):

  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with proven experience leading live or virtual training.
  • Experience managing a learning management system (LMS) or other learning platforms.
  • A consulting mindset—curious, proactive, and able to shape learning solutions that meet business needs.

Preferred:

  • Instructional design or microlearning development skills.
  • Data storytelling and the ability to share learning impact with leaders in clear, compelling ways.

Growth Areas

  • Advanced learning analytics.
  • Coaching skills to further support managers and leaders.

Firefly offers outstanding benefits for our employees, including generous health, dental and vision plans with low plan deductibles, parental leave, educational reimbursement, short term disability, and flexible PTO options.

To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
