Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor supports cross-functional teams throughout the company by overseeing shop performance, ensuring on-time delivery of materials, maintaining process integrity, and upholding high standards of quality and efficiency. This role is key to driving operational excellence and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The shift will be 3pm-1130pm
Responsibilities
- Foster a positive and productive team culture while holding team members accountable to established policies and procedures.
- Set clear expectations and provide regular feedback to promote individual and team success.
- Monitor open picks, follow up on late deliveries, and ensure timely customer fulfillment.
- Support Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Clerk functions by tracking daily performance and efficiency.
- Record shortages and backordered items and coordinate timely resolutions.
- Audit outgoing shipments for proper packaging, addressing, and item accuracy.
- Ensure all warehouse processes are followed and documentation is accurate, complete, and properly maintained.
- Lead and support projects aimed at improving workflow, team training, and operational efficiency.
- Drive team engagement through data-driven insights and collaborative initiatives.
- Track and report inventory KPIs to measure performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain tools and systems to enhance inventory tracking and overall efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company-wide objectives.
- Assist Engineering by ensuring accurate and timely receipt of orders.
- Support Corporate Quality initiatives through recordkeeping, nonconformance tracking, corrective actions, and audit preparation.
- Partner with Procurement to manage inventory records and coordinate part returns.
- Assist launch engineers and technicians with kitting hardware according to work control documents.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements in inventory management and procurement systems.
- Comply with all safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned to maintain an efficient, safe, and effective work environment.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math proficiency.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- 4+ years of experience in inventory management within a warehouse environment (or equivalent).
- Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to perform under pressure while meeting deadlines.
- Solid project management and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and data entry skills.
- Physical ability to perform warehouse duties, including:
- Lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds
- Standing for extended periods
- Crouching, bending, and reaching
- Forklift operation certification or experience.
- Valid “Real ID” driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Desired
- Experience in the aerospace industry.
- Familiarity with Odoo ERP/MRP systems.
- Knowledge of ITAR compliance requirements.
- Experience working in an AS9100-certified environment.
- Background in a start-up or fast-paced, evolving environment.
