Employee Relations Partner

SUMMARY

Come join our Human Resources team! As an Employee Relations Partner you will play a critical role in fostering a positive, inclusive, and fair workplace culture. Partnering closely with the Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP), you will help manage employee relations, address workplace concerns, and ensure alignment with company policies, all while promoting an equitable and respectful environment for our diverse workforce. This position is fully in office between the Briggs and Cedar Park locations with ability to travel to CA launch site, if needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain a high level of discretion and ethical judgment.
  • Proven track record of conducting workplace investigations that will withstand legal scrutiny.
  • Strong understanding of employment law, compliance, and ER best practices.
  • Ensuring adherence to company policies, employment laws, and regulations to maintain compliance and mitigate organizational risk.
  • Experience presenting findings and recommendations to all levels of leadership, including those with dissenting opinions.
  • Expertise in developing and delivering training for employees regarding employee relations.
  • Act as a primary resource for employees on employee relations issues, ensuring timely resolution of workplace conflicts and concerns.
  • Ability to provide direct feedback and engage in difficult and sensitive conversations.
  • Proficiency in electronic case management applications.
  • Proficiency in analyzing ER data to generate comprehensive reports, identify trends, and derive actionable insights for business and project leaders.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of HR experience with a focus on Employee Relations/Investigations, 3+ years leading complex workplace investigations
  • Experience managing complex employment-related investigations, end-to-end, including conducting intake meetings, background research, investigative interviews, report-writing, corrective actions, and debrief meetings, across all locations.
  • Expertise in investigating complaints involving violations of Company policy, including allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, bullying, and other inappropriate behavior.
  • Experience partnering closely with cross-functional partners including the HRBP’s, Legal, Ethics and Compliance, Security, and business units.
  • Experience working closely with the HRBP’s to leverage ER data to proactively identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of CA employment laws
  • Experience working alongside HRBP’s
