SUMMARY
We are looking for an entry level engineer to join the Advanced Materials department at Firefly Aerospace. You will apply your knowledge of material systems to support design, manufacturing and testing activities by the company. Candidates will be considered for either composite or metallic materials, along with their related manufacturing and testing processes.
The candidate must be a self-starter who works well in a team environment and has excellent interpersonal skills. The candidate will form an integral part of a team of engineers and technicians that will be a focal for the company. The candidate will be expected to evaluate new materials, perform failure analysis, provide technical support to departments, customers and suppliers and provide innovative solutions to meet company objectives.
NOTE: While this position is not limited to new graduates, the job will not begin until June 2025.
