Job Summary

Firefly has an exciting opportunity to join our growing marketing team as a Senior Graphic Designer. This position will lead the creative development of Firefly’s marketing assets and play a crucial role in visually communicating our brand internally and externally. The role will be responsible for elevating Firefly’s visual assets and ensuring consistency across all collateral. The ideal candidate has excellent graphic design, communication, photography, and project management skills with the ability to thrive and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of marketing brand materials, including brochures, infographics, presentations, social graphics, mission patches, merchandise, website design, livestreams and other collateral.
• Own the creative process from initial concept design to execution on projects both internal and external facing.
• Manage and maintain Firefly’s brand guidelines and templates, ensuring a consistent look and feel across all collateral.
• Work collaboratively across the company to provide design direction and assist with other graphic projects as needed.
• Support Firefly’s photography requirements and capture key program milestones at our operating facilities.
• Manage Firefly’s external contractors to support content development as needed.
• Collaborate with Firefly partners and customers for content co-creation and distribution.
• Stay on top of budgets, timelines, and deadlines to meet marketing priorities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in graphic design..
• Aerospace industry experience preferred but not required.
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative graphic designs across various platforms.
• Experience in design, layout, color, typography, and illustration to produce digital and print assets.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premier).
• Proficiently in digital photography and photo editing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint.
• Experience in WordPress and web design.
• Animation and motion graphics skills are a plus but not required.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills with attention to detail.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet or exceed deadlines.
• Experience managing external agencies and freelancers.
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
