SUMMARY

Come join our team at the facility where we are building and testing rockets as Facilities Maintenance Plumber Technician I. As the Facilities Maintenance Plumber Technician I, you will perform preventative & and reactive equipment maintenance and operation of heavy equipment. You will have the support of our internal facilities department and contractors. The Facilities Technician I will assist other facilities trades with projects and repairs if necessary. This role is located at our rocket production facility in Briggs, TX, North of Cedar Park.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Some plumbing and general maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the internal facilities department and contractors for support.
  • Assist in various departments and perform necessary repairs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Desired

  • Be on time and ready to work and learn and grow with a rocket company going to the moon!
  • Strong communicator, with a customer-obsessed mindset.
  • Ability to learn to operate and handle machinery (forklift, scissor lift, bulldozer, skid steer etc.), equipment, and tools necessary for maintenance and repair.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by documenting and correcting potential safety issues concerning assembly and material-handling equipment or the facility.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a professional manner with co-workers, vendors, and people with various professional backgrounds.
  • Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands; climb and carry ladders and work with hand and power tools.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, and do repetitive actions with your hands for long periods.
  • Willing to work overtime and weekends if need be.
